Peacock TV is still not available on Amazon Fire TV devices, but a new v1. If you followed my guide downloader app not found sideload Peacock TV or are using my Downloader appdownloader app not found, simply use the URL bit. Just sideload the new version as you would any new app. After launching the app and signing in, if you get only audio when playing content or the video is frozen, force quitting the app or restarting your Fire TV should solve the issue.
If you need more detailed instructions for sideloading, see this guide and use the URL mentioned above. Note that it seems like the 1st-gen Fire TV and 1st-gen Fire TV Stick are not compatible with the Peacock app.

I only have a free account btw. After the update — I have nothing but audio problems. Not working downloader app not found me. Need a new update. Everything was fine until I had to do the new update. Audio issues with the peacock app. Everything else I have is working with no problems. Hopefully a new update soon. This was fine until the update. No problems here! i have the same audio problem,audio keep skipping every few seconda. Using latest version on fire Stick 4k ultra HD versione. hope for a new update ti fix It. I can see the application in Applications but cannot see it on the home page. I can launch it from My FireTV. How do I enable the application to show on the home page? Even after launching, Peacock TV does not show up in recent applications. Good luck! It will probably NOT be fixed anytime soon as it provides no benefit to Amazon.
Fortunately there is a work around for the Peacock app. Fully Delete any installed versions of Peacock, downloader app not found. a simple app uninstall may not be enough, this may also require deleting any additional install files on your device 2.
Find and install Peacock TV version 1. No other version will work. Do NOT delete it. The app is simply being used to install an ICON that is compatible with the current Amazon OS 3. Install the current version of Peacock without deleting version 1. Select YES, downloader app not found. the ICON should remain on the home screen. ok so im running 5. i keep getting puss in boots and it just wont work. i have it installed on another stick which is calling for an update…it worked fine untill recently. i get the icon now, but i just cant get it to load.

It shows up as the application icon instead. How can I get the icon? Ive uninstalled and reinstalled checking ive done everything right and the icon still wont show. Same thing is happening to me. Makes it a pain. And might just watch something else that always works. May update I can watch the first part till commercial and the the commercial just loops over and over. I went back to older version but keeps telling me to update a d will not open.
Both have same issues. I assume if you create account through Android then login through Amazon — Premium trial would carry over.
and I CAN CONFIRM sideloaded Peacock works PERFECTLY! Peacock likely requires Widevine L1 support on the device. Have Comcast Cable so I get their premium app on my main box. Once I downloaded these as required for the update. The app is having audio issues.
Other than that it was better before the update. Something went wrong. I just did the most recent update. This is in my firestick. Anyone else having this issue? So irritating. Sometimes I can force quit or restart my fire stick and it works. Other times, nothing works. sad puss in boots! i tried the above update, and just wont work. at least i won my free trial thru monopoly, but it really sucks that ALL these companies just cant get their ish together and work together.
my friend told me they installed a mirror app to solve the problem from iOS to the fire stick, downloader app not found. its fustrating because it worked for like a hot minute and then not. No HBO Max, no peacock and … Im not even sure if YouTube still works out of the box. I sideloaded it several years ago. Amazon makes media streaming devices, the other companies supply content.
This is so stupid. They should want as many apps available as possible. How do you get side loaded apps to show up with the rest of downloader app not found apps? I knew once but, then I forgot.
Click one. Find the app on the list and click the menu button. Move it to the top of list, downloader app not found. There must be a way to downloader app not found it populate my app list. zor the other hand, it is a common complaint with the leanback launcher. Unfortunately, Firestick is not compatible with the Spectrum app. The downloader was glitchy and unfriendly to use. Lesson blogger.coms: K
